Would I take the Stellia out into the street with a dongle-dack? No, I wouldn't. Would I listen to it out on my balcony with the cord? Too far?

First of all, I'm a big noob in terms of technical descriptions and understanding, but I really enjoy good audio. I'm looking for a pair of headphones that are exciting to listen to and really give me something to bop my head too. As an example of my various audio setups in my house, in my living room, I have a bower and Wilkins 700 series set up mostly in a 5.2.2 formation which is super exciting to listen to and I can crank it up when I'm listening to them, I then have an ls50 wireless set up on my desk which are pretty exciting to listen to but can't listen to them loud all the time during the day as my partner works in another room in the house and can hear them, which is why recently I went and bought stellia focal and if black label micro amp, which is an upgrade from my bose QC 35s.

I thought the detail retrieval was amazing but almost too amazing where it stood out to much. I never owned a closed back phone so it lost a lot of dimension and air to the performance depending on the music. I am so glad I have chosen this as my daily driver. The Stellia is so universal, covers everything, asks for nothing. So much less temperamental than Utopia with treble.

The Good first : - A very luxious headphone provided with many accessories in a superb case - Sound is good but not exceptional compared to more ordinary competitors (price less than 1000$) - Confort is OK The less good : - it's a quite heavy and bulky piece and will heat your ears after 30 minutes ...

However, I will say the Stellia is still a fantastic, end game worthy headphone and I can understand why someone would like it more than the Verite closed especially with different music tastes then mine. After some more time with these two I’ll be selling the focal for the same price I got it which was a great deal on avexchange.

The sound coming from these are by far the best. I have Beyerdynamics & Audio Technicas that don't match these Stellias. However, I've owned Beyerdynamics and ATs for years. They've never broken down. Meanwhile, the flimsy plastic headband that Focal put in these snapped by wear n' tear within 6 mon...

**This is going to be a triple review of the Focal Elex, Focal Clear MG and finally, the Focal Stellia.**. I started my journey 6 months ago with a Focal Elegia, they're quite cheap here in France (We're talking Sundara price if you search enough and don't mind buying second-hand.)
