I’ve had a Fluance RT81 for about 3 years and it is fantastic. Way better than you’d think for the price point. Personally, I’d move the 2 Fives to the turntable and buy 2 One SLs to use as surrounds.

First off, this is a stunningly beautiful turntable. Seriously, the pictures don't do it justice. The fit and finish is top notch. Likes of Fluance RT81/RT83, Rega Planar P1/P2 and Pro-ject but after giving it some thought and seeing so much great looking and great sounding examples of vintage models I decided I want "the old one" ;). I was keeping a close eye on local offers because I knew I wanted to see it before buying and rule out shipping. Initially my focus was into things like Dual 604, 621, 701, 704 etc, because of the good reviews I heard and things like repairability, reliability and some good people near by that are servicing those. But one day I saw this beauty, in my eyes, in factory condition and I just had to get it.

I've enjoyed the treble with these too as I've never really experienced sibilance on any tuning. I listen to a lot of extreme metal so find these headphones to be great for it not turning into a muddy mess.

This Fluance RT-81 seems to be pretty decent. Hard to compare when so few others have turntables. Major complaint: It tends to pick up a lot of low rumble and vibration. I got a Fluance RT81 (built-in preamp) and Fluance Ai41 powered bookshelf speakers. It's all I need, costs around $500 and really sounds amazing. I'd wholeheartedly recommend it, or a similar setup.
