I have a Fire HD 10 plus 64GB tablet. I buy Fire 10 tablets because they receive a one year warranty, can show movies in 1080p, and the regular tablet has 3GB of RAM. My tablet runs very well.

the Fire HD 10 Plus seems pretty ideal as it will do everything I want it to do at a decent price, even if I have to do a bit of ad removal and installing google play through fire toolbox, my only real concern is privacy concerns around Alexa, I don't simply want to "turn it off in settings" because there's no guaruntee it's actually off, I want it gone - Will fire toolbox do this, or do I need to search for a different tablet - If so, any advice on what similar price-performance tablets (preferably on Android or something that can be made to look/function like android the way fire toolbox does) there are, I saw a Lenovo that looked fairly similar at first glance but i'd need to do more research.

The mount is a little flimsy, but for the price, it's a great setup. I'm using a 120v to USB-C converter that I ran wires from down wall to a light switch for power. I need to automate the charging still so it isn't charging 24/7, otherwise it's a easy setup for low cost, and works like a charm. PS, I feel like my 10" is already too small, so I'd steer clear of an 8" display.
