I'Ve decided to give this knife a 9 out of 10 for bushcraft survival, camping knife. To me, it's design is perfect.

I was looking at an Esee a little while ago, but I ended up going with Fallkniven F1. One of the nicest feeling knives I've handled.

The knife seems great, but the leather sheath is quite poor. It got cut by the knife almost immediately upon putting it in. It's also very difficult to pull the knife out. This contrasts starkly from my experience with the Fallkniven S1 and the zytel sheath.

I own the carbon and it’s a nice knife. Fallkniven f1- (I own). Mid size knife carried by fighter pilots as a survival and any use knife. It’s a little beast and useful for most tasks especially bushcraft.

So I typically prefer larger survival knives cut from the Bark River Bravo or Esse RC 5 mold, but this little knife totally surprised me. Not only is is scary sharp out of the box, but the handle which I seriously doubted, was a great surprise. It's comfortable and seems likes its made to take a bea...

Fixed, I love my Fallkniven F1 & Ka-Bar Becker BK2. I may also amend my flipper recommendation to include a Civivi Baklash (after watching and reading so many high ratings), but I can't truly say until next week, as mine is scheduled to arrive on Monday.

I have purchased two of these knives as one was stolen. The first one was very sharp the second one was very dull which makes me think that mass production of this product has affected the quality. The knife itself as a general purpose work knife is good however when needed for hard duty or bushcraf...

Fallkniven f1 (seen them just around or just over $100 from Chicago knife works). Coldsteel bearfinn or something close to that. Cold steel hunter lite. Options close to or around your price range.

Great knife. They're made in Japan these days which is fine I guess but don't think their Swedish name means they're made there. They got popular so they outsourced it due to volume.
