 I've always been a fan of the CT range whether it be a 3 or the 2, I've kind of played between the 2 and depending whether you want the 3 for more sort of like more off piste, more playing in the backcountry or you want the 2 which is going to give you more drive on the piste. This one's my pick of the bunch, Manor 2, really really good and Faction have done a cracking job with the graphics this season.  So this is the all new Faction Manor 2, born out of the old CT range, so if you're familiar

 super smart, we got a chance to try them out, I'm absolutely loving the amount of pop you

 get off this ski and how really it's designed for someone that's looking for a free ride

 ski so not a full on sort of park ski but something free ride but has aspirations to

 get in the park and to play around and do some like big mountain kickers and off the

 side of the mountain and just having fun and it works so so well. I'll show you the profile

 of the ski so you can see there's a fair amount of camber underfoot but you've got your rocker

 I really enjoyed the riding around the mountain on these today, great on the jumps and bumps. I really like that they've got a snappy responsive flex in the tail so you can pop nice and high but the nose is a little bit stiffer so you don't get pushed around in choppy heavy snow. Yeah overall very fun ski I would recommend it for ripping around the mountain. It turned surprisingly good you wouldn't expect a twin tip ski to turn as good as this but another thing I really like about this ski is the early rise and the tip and tail really helps it float in the pow and keeps it really lively if you're you know trying to shuffle or jump around in the pow

Yeah overall it was a really fun ski main things that stood up for me were how stable it was on all mountain conditions for an all-mountain freestyle ski definitely one of my top choices

 Ski switch, this thing's going to do a great job, and by it being not that turny, I think that makes a lot of sense for having that more freestyle oriented character. Full sidewall on this ski, so definitely kind of that real deal freeride ski, 102mm underfoot, 20m radius, not a crazy construction, but enough to keep it performing for those advanced and expert skiers. Definitely felt like this thing carved a pretty clean turn on the trail, you can access the whole sidecut, really get it up on a high edge angle and make it come around, really smooth ski overall, great option for that freestyle freeride skier who's looking for something in that low 100mm width for a variety of snow conditions and terrain. So definitely check out this Faction Mana 2 here at SkiEssentials

 Really kind of a nice flagship model of their all-mountain twin tip. Definitely blurs that line of freestyle, freeride, and all-mountain, and Faction does it just about as good as anybody else out there. Super fun, really playful, very happy to get on these this year and instantly kind of found a whole lot to like about this Mana series with this 2 being the narrowest at 102 millimeters underfoot. So, interesting that a 102 underfoot ski is the narrowest in a particular line, but that just kind of goes to show that this thing is based more on that freeride and powder perspective in that more fun-loving and twin tip shape

 Super fun, really playful, very happy to get on these this year and instantly kind of found a whole lot to like about this Mana series with this 2 being the narrowest at 102 millimeters underfoot. So, interesting that a 102 underfoot ski is the narrowest in a particular line, but that just kind of goes to show that this thing is based more on that freeride and powder perspective in that more fun-loving and twin tip shape. 102 underfoot, this ski generates a 20 meter turn radius, so it is a little bit straighter of a cut, giving you more flexibility in how and why and where and when you want to shape your turns, and I think that works really well for these wider twin tips, allowing you to access the side cut as well as be a little bit more drifty and smeary than you may be with a more aggressively cut ski. These are built with a lightweight poplar wood core, so nice and energetic and snappy to start, and then in order to dampen vibrations and make this thing feel a little bit stronger, they use a carbon and rubber stomp pad underfoot, so this middle portion of the ski has this kind of matrix of carbon and rubber under there
