Elite Direto

I Think the ride feels really nice, it's extremely stable trainer and then the power accuracy was actually pretty good.

uh, and that trainer isn't yet shipping. It was supposed to ship a year ago and hasn't happened.

I had an Elite Direto that lasted 6 months and had problems the whole time. I switched to Wahoo Kickr and have had 0 problems after 2 years. It doesn't seem many people have had the same issues I had with the Elite so my experience may be abnormal, but their support was unhelpful and frustrating at best.

I live in a cold location and, instead of taking the winter off from cycling, decided to invest in a smart trainer this year. I'm guessing I'm not the only one that made this decision as all the gyms in my state are closed due to covid and inventory for pretty much any home gym stuff is non-existent...

I have an Elite Direto trainer and haven't had any issues with it for the last 5 years I have had it. I recently got my mom go upgrade from her Tacx Votex trainer to an Elite Suito and she has really enjoyed it the past 6 months. They are both really good trainers.

So you buy a smart trainer so you can do smart/power training, right? That's the whole point. ERG mode. Or maybe Zwift, if that's what you're into, but I got this specifically for power training so I'll have more fun when I'm riding outside.
