 Add in the fact that the Ergorapido weighs nearly a pound less than the UltraPower, and it's my vote for the most maneuverable traditional stick model we tested. The Ergorapido is a 2 in 1 machine.  The handheld vacuum is stored right on the upright.   The tools are stored on the charging dock.  There is the upholstery brush, which has bristles and a triangular shape.  For tighter spots and narrow spaces, there also is a crevice tool.  You can clean stairs with the upright version, or you can take the handheld out to clean every little nook and cranny.

There are two modes, low and high for the vacuum.  On high, its noise level is about 75 decibels, and on low its just under 70.  The filtration system isn't perfect as more dust came out of the exhaust than there was in the air.

 For the money, it should also have a hard floor setting to cut off the brushes like some of the older, cheaper units had. And why don’t they make these with replaceable batteries and other wear parts? It is such a waste to trash the whole thing because one minor item wears out.

This is a better unit than the last four Electroluxes that I have purchased, but it cost a lot more too. It has more suction and a longer lasting battery, but emptying and cleaning the dirt container is a mess. One of the latches that hold the brush in place will occasionally release while vacuuming on an area rug. It could be better

Pricy but Works Better than the Older Electrolux

 Emptying the dust canister on the Ergo Rapido is also pretty easy. The dust canister is held inside the handheld unit, so first we take that off. You can empty it one of two ways. There's a little hatch on the end of the handheld here

 You can put another vacuum in there and basically pull the dirt and debris out, or you can empty it yourself manually. It comes off pretty easy. There's a little device in here you can pull a few times. That shakes the dust off the filter and empties it into the canister

 It's powered by a 12 volt battery. Assembly of the Ergo Rapido is really very easy. There is essentially one screw in the back of the handle here. You put that in, you're pretty much good to go

 However, moving the vacuum on carpet was another matter altogether, and it was very difficult to push or to turn. Also in the two key areas of performance, cleaning performance, on carpet and bare floors, we found the EL-1011 lacking.

All right, so when you're done cleaning it out, just snap it back in, okay, you're going to put it in the top first, and just click, it clicks in, okay, and check this out. This is another beautiful feature on this, the reason I like it. We all know about our roller bars and how they get full of dog hair and strings and this and that, and it gets clogged up, it doesn't work so good, right? To take this one out to clean it, there's a little button right here that says open, you flip it down, lift up the bar, and then there's another one here, okay, this button goes this, do it again, there's a button there, so you lift that up, okay, now the whole roller bar just comes out like that, wow, and you can clean up in there, sticking it back is kind of the same way, just stick that in first, slip that down, slide it over, lock it, put the bar over, push that over, lock it, and we're done

 This one here kind of steps it up a bit. Price range, when I purchased this, I've had it a couple months now, so if I had time to properly review it, I paid $88 for it at Walmart, and I'll put a link in the description down below where you can see where you can purchase it also. So what features does this have that make it better than the older models and stuff like that? Well, first of all, it's got lithium-ion battery. I think everyone has heard that term by now, I know that's a better, stronger, longer-lasting battery than any of the predecessors

 Now how about cleaning this thing, okay? Go back to the dust buster core, all right? There's a button here and a button here, squeeze those, open it up, okay? And then, okay, so open it up, there's two buttons right here, squeeze them together, and this lifts up, it's got a double filter system. You can see in the video right now, I'm doing, I had to do the recorded voiceover, but cleaning it up is very easy. You can just shake it out when you're done. I like taking my blower, my leaf blower, and blowing it out so it's really clean

Dies out after 30 seconds!

Although I have an older product for which I thought I was receiving a higher quality filtration system, not only did it not include an attachment for a brush with a beater bar on the handheld vac for steps and such, but the filter for the large vacuum did not hold as much dirt and took me the same amount of time as I vacuumed yesterday o manipulate the filter in and out of its container, clean it, and then reinsert it into the vacuum.😅
