It’s worthless on the Elecom Huge too. In theory, you could use that button to make micro-adjustments, but in practice, it’s too slow, even for basic Voltaic benchmarks. In game, for most fpses, you’re looking at right clicking to scope, pressing the dpi button, firing, and then at least clicking the dpi button again to increase your sensitivity.

The Elecom HUGE is almost the same ball size as the Kensington (if you’re used to that), more buttons and customizability, but they only have right-handed versions (unlike the Kensington, which is symmetrical). The control software starts out in Japanese but you can switch it to the English language, and it supports both Windows and MacOS. Elecom also has other models if you prefer a smaller trackball (DEFT) or a thumb-controlled ball (EX-G).
