I also have some Salomon shoes and Hoka shoes. I use Hoka only for long distances (> 25 miles). Recently I tried Dynafit Feline SL for conditions where a lot of grip is needed and liked them, although it seems they will take some time to break in. My feet are narrow so brands like Altra or Topo don't work well for me - I tried but I don't get enough control on technical terrain

It’s time for new shoes. What are you running with?

Favorite shoe to date has been the Salomon Ultra Pro (unable to find) and currently have the S/Lab Sense 8. Looking for another shoe for the quiver as I need to replace the HOKAs...multiple rolls and injuries that I've never had in 10 years might point to them as the culprit. 

Really interested in the Dynafit Alpine or the Ultra 100. La Sportiva Akasha and S/Lab Ultra 3 (seems they have a different fit that the other Ultras). Any experience in the Dynafits or any of the other shoes? And if Dynafit, what's the difference in the toe box between the Ultra 100s and Alpines? Can't find info.

Last 5 years of shoes for trail running. About 15- 40mile runs about 15-20 times each season.  
These were my last few pair.

Salomon Wings Pro-(favorite current shoe for 3 years) 

Salomon Speedcross 3 and 4 ( okay love the comfort and light weight)- these soles tend to fall apart quicker than the wings. More of a mud shoe. 

Nike wild horse 3 goretex ( loved this shoe but not as comfy as the wings ,but light and smaller footprint)

1. Lightweight 
2. Goretex(waterproof) 
3. Rock plate (full plate, preferably)
4. Durable (looking to get 300 miles)
5. Good Ankle Support
6. Good tread for gripping steep slopes and rocks
7. Colorway and look

I am very interested in the La sportiva Bushido. I have been told this is the shoe I want to try ,but the color ways are normally the same and I rarely see sales/discounts.

Let me know what you like and reasons ,or if you've tried the newer versions of my shoes.
