 Sometimes you know, you're kicking around pedals, you get a little aggressive with it. This allows you to protect your settings. One last thing I'm going to mention is that this is a stereo pedal. A lot of times you see demos of reverb pedals and it's a mono signal

 It's a reverb pedal modeled after different Lexicon reverbs, which if you don't know, is standard studio units, really, really great sounds from them, and Digitech did a great job modeling them. It's kind of an update from the Hardwire series that they put out a few years ago, and the Hardwire Reverb is, for the money, one of my favorite reverb pedals, had it on my board for a long time. There are four knobs. Level controls the amount of reverb that you're getting

 You have the knob selector over here, which, you know, goes through all of the different functions. Spring, Hall, a couple different kind of standard things, and then there's the more experimental stuff. There's a modulated function, a halo function. My favorite setting on this pedal is definitely the reverse function, which you heard at the beginning of the video when Nate stopped by when we played that Beatles tune

The big problem for me was that you need to manually adjust the knobs to get each sound, as the pedal cannot save presets, meaning its utility was reduced for live settings. I also have a Digitech Polara, which is an awesome pedal for traditional reverbs, but it's no longer as cheap on the used market it as it once was.

 What I've done is dialed the decay back and the liveness back so it's a little smaller, a little darker room sound. So here's what it sounds like clean. And here it is with a little bit of gain on it. So the cool thing about that, even going to turn up the liveness a little bit and the decay, so you can hear how it kind of really affects the overall tone, same EQ settings on the distortion

 What's really on here are seven Lexicon Studio grade reverbs.

 We have, let me see, we have Room, Plate, Reverse, Modulated, the ever popular Halo,

 So those are your different types of reverb and within each of those types you can control

 the level, obviously, and the liveliness, which is kind of the top end, but it also makes

 it more or less apparent in the mix and Decay, which is obviously like the length of Decay,

 but it also is sort of the size of the space and it's a little different with each one,
