I was just screwed over by dell as i have just been notified that it will take another 2 months for their S2522HG Monitor to ship. Not to mention I was told this over a week past their estimated delivery time only after incentive from multiple emails and phone calls i made over a 4 day period.

Just ordered a Dell S2522HG 24.5" 240Hz 1080p monitor for my r5 2600; 1660ti budget gaming computer. It was on sale for $225. I chose it over a 27" IPS panel because I figured 1080p is my hardware ceiling for 240Hz or anything close. I like the specs for Dell S2522HG (+:FreeSync Premium , -: only 1080p) and Philips 245B1 (+: 1440p, ambient light sensor, -:"only 75Hz). I did not manage to find 24" 1440p with adaptive sync at least 120Hz.

Let's scrap the MSI monitor you are considering too because it is basically the same as the VG259QM and Dell S2522HG. If you want 1080 144hz, I'd probably get the AOC 24G2. All the shit you've heard is completely false.
