Daiwa J-Braid Dark Green Line

I’m not sure how i feel. It seems to work fine bait fishing but jigging the line flattens out/ unravels but doesn’t seem to lose its integrity if that makes sense. I thought i got junk but multiple people have gotten it spooled at bait shops and have same complaint.

Garbage, I spooked up with this line and caught one fish and then had 3 bad backlashes with my spinning reels which never happens with any good line. I will use the rest as spool backing because I will not use it for mainline again.

Quite sure this was a "bad" spool as it broke easily, even with just a cast. I am an experienced fisher with high quality gear and have used J Braid 8 Grand 8# extensively. Never had this experience before. Returned for refund.

I have used every line there is at one point or another. J braid is the best I have found so far. Its so thin in fact the 8lb is too thin and I had to bounce back up to 10.

Been using the x8 but the grand is a bit stiffer. Love j braid. It’s the only braid I’ve been using. On all on my saltwater reels.

Very high quality braided line, some people tested knots strength and claimed its superiority to spectra.
