Creality Ender 3 V2

This is my white whale. The first time I tried printing it, it literally killed my Ender 3 V2; fried the board about halfway through printing and even after replacing the board and the vast majority of the electronics it still won't print well. About 6 months later I tried it on my Prusa, but I had a filament tangle that ruined it(literally one of two failed prints on the Prusa, both tangled filament).

The media could not be loaded. First thing first the instructions sent with the printer are very lacking to say the least. The instructions reference parts by name yet there is no list of the parts so you can identify what part they are referring to. After assembly was finished next came fine tuning...

Oh heck no. At that price a prusa would be far superior.

Heck even a $200 creality ender 3 is better than that.

Update: It's been about 6 weeks and I have printed about 30 items. Some took up to 14 hours, but most have been in the 3 to 5 hour range. I confirmed that I have the 4.2.2 motherboard. So Black Friday is coming up and there are some pretty good discounts on 3D printers. I saw the Ender 3 V2 on Aliexpress on sale for around 230€ (260$) and I think that's a pretty good deal for what you're getting. My only problem is that I don't really have a good use case for it right now. As in, I can only think of like 5 - 10 things I would print and after that the printer would just collect dust in my room.

Bought Creality Ender 3 V2 for a nephew. We never got it to work properly, even after sending it for repairs once. Just a nightmare of work and testing, probably killed my interest for doing 3D printing, already tired of it.

I thought about buying a 3D printer for like two years but could never justify it. I went with the Ender 3 V2 back in January after waiting a couple of months for a sale. I immediately upgraded the springs, leveled once and had awesome prints for 4 months.

This is not a, "pull it out of the box and start printing right away" 3d printer. You have to assemble it. The documentation is fair at best.
