First build, Thermal Paste?

To make this review worthwhile, I'll keep it in a Q/A format. 1. Is it the same product as displayed: NO. The one I received mentions it as a "New Version" with differently styled application nose

More suitable for Desktops, Laptop application needs precision (read below why)
