Didn’t expect it to be so dry on a brand new T14

As the die heats up and cools down it changes shape very slightly, this pushes the paste away from the die. NT-H1 is one of the most affected from my experience, going to shit in days and this is what I've heard from others as well. From what I've heard Arctic MX-4 is thicker and lasts longer (a few months), Gelid GC Extreme is very thick and has great conductivity and the same goes for New MasterGel Maker (the one in the fancy looking tube) which is what I could find locally and put in my T430 and it works great.

You should go with higher viscosity thermal pastes, Gelid GC Extreme for instance. If you can't find it, Arctic Silver 5 will make temperatures what they were before. Gelid is a bit better.

If you do go with thermal paste I would recommend something more viscous than Kryonaut. Some options are Thermalright TFX, Thermalright TF8, and Gelid GC Extreme. You could go the liquid metal route as well, but you need to spend some time carefully reading through how to properly seal the areas around the die as well as properly covering the traces and capacitors near the CPU/GPU dies with liquid electrical tape or conformal coating.
