In my personal experience the 3L cnoc bag is incredibly annoying and unwieldy when full. Tried using one for longer water carries and wished I had just brought more shitty 2l gas station bottles and a 1l bag to filter from. I'd also be hesitant for almost half my capacity to be one bottle unless I knew it was pretty bombproof, which isn't how I feel about the cnoc vecto bladders. They're strong as far as bladders go but still more prone to failure than plastic bottles.

A 1 L Smart Water bottle weighs 40-45 g depending on its cap. My 2 L CNOC Vecto bladder (which is 3 years old) weighs 77 g. The blue coupler weighs 5.3 g. Therefore: A CNOC Vecto is a lighter way to carry 2 L of water than two 1 L Smart water bottles.

The Cnoc is really great for extra capacity and it's much easier to scoop water into. I don't mind the space of the water bottles. I have two bottle pouches I wouldn't use for much else and I got the pack planning for this setup.

The venta handle wind better than fleece again though I can't recommend them unless budget means nothing to you. *edit2* I see now that you only are carrying say two shepherd hooks out of 10 stakes you will likely be fine with that. Two full size ground hogs may save you some hassle on some windy nights though. Can always scrounge rocks instead.
