Iirc it rates highly for under $50 as is, and I don't print enough to invest in laser.

I have and like the Canon Pixma printers, currently using a G6020 which uses ink tanks instead of expensive print head/ink cartridges.

The iX6820 can sit, and has, for months without even turning it on with no problems of dry / clogged nozzles. Overkill? Maybe, but they work when I need them and cost very little to operate. Yes, the Canon can take a little while before it prints when it is first turned on, but that's ok.
