Canon EOS Rebel T8i

Yes. EOS Rebel SL1 with a couple lenses is definitely worth it for $50. Go get it as soon as possible, before someone else snagged it. From sensor wise, it is pretty much the same as the famous Rebel T2i.

T8i is wonderful. u have lots of good choices if u stay in the canon ecosystem... if u have a bunch of good lenses, u can buy a body only.

You could really even look at a t7, same camera really, big drawback is no flip screen but it’s less than half the price, otherwise just get the t8i or sl3 you will be able to take fantastic photos with any of them, modern camera sensors are so good and that is a decent kit lens, you can add an ef-s 55-250 is stm lens as well if you want a nice telephoto zoom to complete the kit. You will be more than happy with the quality of images you can produce, the only limitation will really be your technique,.

I've now used the T8i for about a year and while I really do like it, I think if I had to choose now between the T8i or the M50 mk II, I'd go with the latter. The further reduced size/weight is really appealing, especially since most of my pictures are taken while also playing with my son. Battery life isn't nearly as big of a deal as I was expecting and the mk II is a fair bit better than the original M50 anyway.
