I don't even take it out for scenery and what not because I have better results using my phone!. I am guessing this is an issue with light levels, aperture, and shutter speed. I've tried using the automatic "sport" mode as well as manually messing with the settings. Looking at a recent event, I typically couldn't go faster than 1/200, sometimes only 1/50 and that's with the widest aperture at 4.5mm.

I researched the Rebel T7i and that looked like it had a good balance between usability (I'm not a pro) and functionality, whereas I feel like I could use more functionality on my T3. I liked the idea of the built in time-lapse feature. I really want a camera with a pop out screen, too since the T3 is fixed.

It has 24 MP and is a crop camera. I would probably go for the Rebel T7i for the same price point. There is no weather protection and it is a crop camera.

Travel landscape camera - M50/Z50/a6300

As always user preference is the determining factor for what is ergonomic and what is not. In my experience small camera size does not always translate to less weight. When I owned a Canon T7i and 18-135 that combination tipped the scales at the same or less than my m43 with 14-150 attached.
