It is one of the smallest DSLRs possible, Canon has wide range of lens, many of which are cheap to get second hand, in the beginning era of mirrorless. It is a small, easy to use camera with many great features. I use Canon 6D myself, but I am contemplating about buying 250d as a backup body.

I learnt everything I know using a Canon eos 250d (rebel 300 in the us I think) great DSLR, hella easy to use and one of the lightest DSLRs on the market today, huge lense selection and with the mirror less cameras slowly becoming the norm they're coming down in price too, pretty affordable at £650 (gbp) for what they are. I'm upgrading to an eosR next year but the 250 will still be my backup camera.
