 I think it might take up to a few business weeks to receive. Still not changing the title of my review because I did have trouble getting someone to resolve this. I did raise it from 1 star to 3. I hope these pans hold up much better than my originals

Having trouble with them upholding their warranty

 I just added more liquid. I guess I could have sent it back, but I'll just keep it and make adjustments. Again a well engineered top would solve the problem.

The cons first: 1. The pouring spouts seem like a good addition, but I found trying pouring hot liquid through the holes of the lid was awkward. 2. With the on (simmer), steam escapes through the top which make simmering next to impossible

Replaced ~6 yr old "Simply Calphalon" of the same size. Coating finally gave up and while not peeling, was no longer nonstick at all. Mine had become convex a bit and oil ran to the edges as well. Did it occasionally get overheated? Probably

I like Calphalon but the competition has passed these by.

 Just disappointed. I guess I’ll go back to using my cast iron equipment. It’s more “babying” then nonstick…but it does last forever.

 I’m a baker and I am VERY carful with what I buy and how I use my equipment. So I can honestly say I have never overheated this pan, used metal utensils on it, or used it inappropriately. Just disappointed. I guess I’ll go back to using my cast iron equipment

Not a long term option

I received this set of Calphalon Frying Skillets on 1/9/23. They are Nice Skillets but the 8" Skillet has a bell shaped shadow/ stain in the middle of it. I'm Not sure what caused it. It could be from when they company was making it

 I don't think it will affect the usage of the Skillet. Regardless they they seem to be Nice Skillets.

Calphalon Fry Pan Set 8" & 10"

Its perfect size and i love that i can put in oven .. makes dinner easy  I have change my mind .

 the non- stick on bottom is starting to look like its coming off .. and it only a month old . I need to find out what i can do about this

Like the size of the pans, but they do stick. Haven’t really used anything sharp in the pans to see if they are Scratch proof…! Don’t want to chance it getting scratched.

.. the "black stuff" remains unidentified. Calphalon was unable to identify it either and said it was perhaps something from my dishwasher, but I've never put this pan in the dishwasher, ever

 That's enough for me. I don't have time/energy to deal with this further, so I am out not only the pan, which I really needed, but I'm out the original cost as well. Does anyone know if these pans would be recyclable? not sure how to dispose of the one I have. And one more thing

  7/19 EDIT: After contacting Calphalon and going through a lengthy warranty process they replaced the 8" pan. The replacement works wonderfully. Very pleased.

 Now,over the last week or so, everything sticks like it’s welded to the pan! I throughly hand clean the pan using Dawn, hot water and a Dawn sponge after each use. After washing, water sheets right off the cooking surface leaving it dry which would seem to indicate the nonstick finish is doing its job. But the the next time I attempt to fry an egg it sticks hard to the pan. I have a 20 year old Calphalon plain anodized aluminum crepe pan that I’ve cooked eggs on for years that’s more non-stick than this thing

I bought the 2 fry pan set because I’ve got the same Classic Calphalon pans in our RV and I love cooking eggs in the 8" fry pan. I’ve never had a problem with food sticking in that pan.  I received the 2 pan set about 2 weeks ago and for the first 4 or 5 times I used the pan it performed well without food sticking using just butter to cook eggs. However after that I began experiencing food sporadically sticking to the center of the pan

 But the the next time I attempt to fry an egg it sticks hard to the pan. As I said earlier, I don’t have this problem to the identical pan in our RV, although I don’t remember the cooking surface of that pan being quite as coarser as the new pan. Overall I am very disappointed with these new pans and would not recommend them
