 I have no issues with the pan itself, but the handle is terrible. It is very skinny and hard to hold to keep the pan level, it wants to roll around in my hand. I am plenty strong enough to maneuver it however I wish, but the skinny handle makes it awkward to keep it straight. The pan is of solid construction, but the surface never seemed perfectly flat to me. After about 9 months of light use the base is properly warped and oil just pools up around the edges leaving the center bare. I give 3 stars because I'm not sure I gave the pan the best of care, otherwise I would give it 1. At this price point I expect a pan that will be extremely durable for years and not super sensitive

The pan itself is fantastic and, granted one need not lift the pan while cooking too often, but the handle is a terrible design. It does not fit comfortably in the palm, and is so narrow that if one attempts to lift the pan with it there is little to no control of the pan; the pan tips wildly to the left and then right because you cannot grasp the handle. We are looking for a rubber handle cover and if we find one will keep the pan; otherwise we will have to sadly return it.

The pan I received does not have a flat bottom. The pan wiggles on a flat surface. I am disappointed about that for the price. I will admit the pan still cooks better than any pan I have owned previously

Pan does not spin on glass top but....

These pans used to be marked as dishwasher safe. After repeated washing the aluminum core has corroded around the edge and left a sharp steel edge that could cut unwary cooks.  Other than that, the heat distribution and build of the pan is great.

I know it's minor but also an investment. So for a fry pan to cost $130 I don't expect machine marks. This will eventually affect it's performance and durability

Such an expensive frying pan which is difficult to clean because foodstuff sticks to the base when frying/cooking. I would reconsider before buying another one

Not easy to clean

 I've been using the mercury test to make sure the pan temperature is optimal, then adding my olive oil, swirling the oil in the pan, then the eggs. The omelette sticks when I fold it in half, leaving a small amount of egg crust that sticks. Then the egg leaves the pan for the plate and the whole pan is left with egg residue. Every day I have to clean the pan by leaving it soak for a few minutes, and then cleaning it with paper towel before I put it away

 You really just have to get used to how this pan works, for me, I heat the pan on 4 (out of 10) for about 5-7 minutes, until it reaches the optimal temp. Then I add my olive oil and swirl it in the pan, and let it sit until it begins smoking, I wait about 5 seconds after the smoking begins and add my eggs and turkey, then the cheese. Then I leave it alone until it's ready to fold. Hope this helps someone struggling to use this pan

My trusty Calphalon non stick pan was starting to come apart and I needed to replace it, so I figured I'd treat myself to an upgrade. Sadly this pan has been nothing but a headache.   I'm free to use the heat level needed for each application. I like that it actually does get hot enough to sizzle, unlike nonsticks.  There may be sticking when you first put a protein in the pan, but give it a minute or two and it releases.  After use, if I haven't used a lot of oil, I will fill with HOT water and a squirt of dawn and let it cool off

 Sooner or later the nonstick sticks, and most of them seem to warp. I use them for specific applications (eggs, grilled cheese, etc), but whenever I cook meat, out comes the All-Clad.  The instructions didn't say anything about "seasoning" so I didn't.  I heat it first, add the oil (though sometimes I forget and add the oil before heating)

I decided to invest in this pan after I started using my old Emeril stainless saute pan more and my nonstick skillets less. I have a collection of nonstick, including Cephalon, which I liked at first and then grow to hate. Sooner or later the nonstick sticks, and most of them seem to warp. I use them for specific applications (eggs, grilled cheese, etc), but whenever I cook meat, out comes the All-Clad

A non-scratching pad will usually finish removing the rest
