I've been riding a 10 year old burton blunt which is a flying v, its great fun but really exhausting in powder and wobbly at speed. I don't ride switch or spend time in the park so I want a directional board with good pop. I imagine the stiffness will be a really big difference.

 Right now you are checking out the 2014 Burton Blunt.

 Also comes in wide version, so people riding with, you know, feet size 10 and a half maybe

 This is a twin jib, park and jumping board, good for the beginner to the advanced riders.

 This board has Burton's flat top camber profile, and that's where it's actually flat between

 your feet, and you've got that rocker out to your tip and tail kick.

 Fly core is Burton's basic wood core with Biax fiberglass.

 You've also got something called Frostbite, which is an edge technology, little bumps

 underneath your bindings that really give you that extra edge hold in that hard pack

 Pro tips are just kind of like thinned out tips and tails.

 This lowers the swing weight, so when you go to spin off a jump, you don't have all

 this extra weight that you're trying to get around.

 You also have jumper cables, which are carbon stringers.

 This is inside the board, so you can't really see it.

 It gives you a little more pop by transferring energy under your feet out to the tips and

 Again, the energy allows you to snap up and ollie and pop a lot higher.
