For a modeling amp like the Boss Katana. * People seem to like the sound for the price. * There's potentially lots of money to be saved with a modeling amp because you don't have to buy a ton of effects pedals. * Being able to plug it straight into an audio interface is kind of cool.

From what i've read tube amps sounds better but as i have no intention to buy pedals, and a laptop will be near the amp pretty much always so I'm leaning towards the Boss Katana (although i think it's overpriced in my country). I could also get a used **Blackstar id core** for half the price of a Boss Katana, or a **Blackstar Silverline** for a hundred less than the katana. My musical preferences include almost everything between folk and blackgaze so something that "does everything" would be preferred.
