Was super stoked, got both the pedals in the pic for $75. The HM-2 is pretty much as advertised, hot metal that wants every knob dimed.

But seriously, that sounds great man. For a pedal who's claim to fame is making gnarly chainsaw noises the HM-2 really can be surprisingly versatile!

Then I went ahead and put it in front of an amp where I had dialed in a mid gain crunch sound and hooooooo boy, I LOVE this pedal. It gives me exactly what I wanted, which is a more flexible HM-2 that allows you to get relatively tight(?!)

Ok, I bought it because it was a good deal (I'm not SUPER into death metal and I can't afford very expensive pedals) and I REALLY love this thing. Just a little bit of bass boost and very little of trebble cut (this color mix is wild) and the distortion in the almost minimum gain is amazing, I really like it. It makes a very smooth distortion.
