Extremely solid build quality: I got the sense when holding them I could have hurled them into a wall and done more damage to the wall than to the headphones. They looked and sounded fantastic as well. The audio cable was removable, which is always a plus when it comes to durability.

I bought these to use for work and for personal - listening to music but also taking calls, etc. and they weren't great for that. The cushions for the SoundLink Around Ear fit perfectly on the QC35-II's, are less expensive, and last longer.

I will preface this by saying they're still great, still sounds as good as the day we got them. And, my son lives in these (but they don't leave the house). However, I would definitely expect the covers to hold up better. We've had higher quality covers on much less expensive headphones in the past....

Right now my main intend use for these are music and lecture listening to focus and zone out everything else in my surrounding. I am starting University and need something to help me keep centre. I grew up on Bose head phones and audio, from have 3 pairs of their Bose SoundLink Around Ear Wireless Headphones II ( quality of the headphones didn't last long, granted I did were them everyday and worked out in them as well).

There are scuffs along the side like they’ve been used before. Spending that much you want them to be perfect.

There now a replacement from China that works perfectly; Airfrex Wireless Bluetooth Adapter for Bose SoundTrue 2 and SoundTrue Around-Ear II (AE2) and OE2 (OE2) at $29. Bose should be ashamed, I will never buy another product from them.
