 There'S it's got a removable liner, a wrist gauntlet. So you don't lose them when you have to take them off to do some stuff. A removable liner scott itself has a a little trigger claw, instead of a lot of mittens they're, just solid with the fingers together. This has a little bit so potentially you could pull your liner out and do some uh work this way, but i found that should probably be a useless feature because you end up really needing to have your fingers for dexterity

 This is a very warm mitt uh black diamonds, rated these in the temperature rating from zero fahrenheit down to minus 20 fahrenheit. I can attest to the fact that they're totally comfortable in at least in wind, chills down to minus 20 or below never had any issues in peru this year in the summit, this is a very warm glove. There'S it's got a removable liner, a wrist gauntlet. So you don't lose them when you have to take them off to do some stuff

 There'S a tightening strap on the wrist as well. Keep the snow out really had no issues at all. With these gloves last thing you want to do when you're on a summit. Push is have to think about

Black Diamond Mercury Mitts

Reporting from Colorado/Utah: I have chronic cold hands, and these gloves have been great this season! The liner is very thick and nice, I use for skiing and shoveling snow. The liner is stupid however because it is built with a separate index finger slot. Whats the point of that! I have mittens so my fingers will be warm together! Easily avoidable though- just put all fingers in the main area and squish the index finger slot closed. Also, I like that the gaiter is long to stay over my coat (where I prefer), but they do not have the separate wrist string attachment if that's a big point for anyone

 You can't drop it from a ski lift. You can't get to leave it behind for any reason and when it's time to put the shell back on it's really as simple as slide the two together, you can hear the velcro line up there and you're right back together for our waterproof super cold-weather, mint 

 This mitt also features the safety leash. So if you have to take and separate your your glove and mitt for any reason or take the entire piece off, you've got at least right around your wrist. You can't drop it from a ski lift. You can't get to leave it behind for any reason and when it's time to put the shell back on it's really as simple as slide the two together, you can hear the velcro line up there and you're right back together for our waterproof super cold-weather, mint 

 Here you do have a nice loop on the front, so you can attach it to to a carabiner to a pack to whatever you might need to or just hang it up to dry. You'Ve got some great reinforcement right in between the thumb and and where the forefinger sits in this glove. So if you're gripping something like a pole, ski pole, trekking pole, if you're snowshoeing with it you've got reinforcement, there got a wrist adjustment here to keep snow and wind I'm coming in the glove and then to further bolster that you've got a one-handed pull gong. Clip right at the back to to cinch overtop your jacket, the liner for the mercury mitt has what's often called a lobster construction or a trigger finger construction
