i bought this monitor as well as the one all the cs pros use (benq XL2546s) and looked at them side by side and tried them both in game... VG259QM by far the best man. has all the pros of an ips (color qual) and the pros of the leading TN's (speed/response/lag).

Compared to my PG258Q this is not as good at ALL. DyaC isn't as good as gsync (kept both off), and the panel itself doesn't look as good either. So, performance wise it's not the best (especially compared to the PG258Q). Only Pros about it are the build quality, the stand, the popout headphone hange...

got a odyssey g7 instead. xl is the best monitor for competitive gaming ive ever seen. no blur no ghosting everything is insane. just wanted a more cinematic experience with a 32 inch screen hehe

The base of the monitor is too large. I keep hitting the base when I move my mouse to dodge flashes or swipe for a kill. Also my monitor came with 4 dead pixels and one of them is directly above the center of my screen where my crosshair lays. 700 dollars for this monitor is a massive waste of money...
