The tk700sti is not the best thing available right now, and I don't think it even works with your mounting distance. If you want a BenQ I'd be looking at the 3550i.

I ultimately ended up returning the tk700 because it had worse blacks and washed out colours - but benq describes its use-case as a rec room, and I imagine they expected there to be a little light on. With a little extra light it looks better than its competition, but it's not really meant for a light controlled cinema if that's your thing. The tk700sti is also a short throw projector, and your W1070 isn't, so the throw will be entirely different and you'll have to completely remeasure. If you want something more similar to your W1070 but 4k, you probably want the BenQ 3550i.

I was surprised by the performance of the tk700, which I found to be inferior to my older 1085st. The colours were, imo, less accurate, and the blacks were comparatively gray. I found out that the 700 has an eight-slice colour wheel - including two white pieces - that increases brightness at the expense of these two specific things - colour and black levels. This makes it amazing in a rec room or other space where you might keep a dim light on, but it's not great for the cinematic experience if you're after that true dark.

They both got 4K resolution with high refresh rate, low input lag, and amazing display colors. Since the TK700STi is a short-throw projector, that means you can have more flexible choices to arrange it in your house based on your preference. Both are great, just depends on your needs.
