Beautyrest Black

Spent hours upon hours, days of research, read through various bad reviews and horror stories on said mattresses. Finally, I said the hell with it. I looked through Costco for an affordable bed and chose the Beautyrest because I was sick and tired of looking for beds with all the gimmicks, and promises, and thousands of hours of research and development. I just wanted a new bed to replace my old one and didn’t know why I wanted to spend over $1k for a bed from an overhyped company.

5 years ago we spent $$$ on an adjustable bed. It was great for reading in bed, but that sleeping was a terrible experience. The edges of the mattress are a little soft, so if you migrate outward or sit on the mattress, be aware it gives a bit. I would like a little more support on that front, which keeps it from being a 5/5 score.

King - Hard as a rock, I had for 4 months now. Already has body impressions. I sleep on the couch for a month now. Shoulders and hips are killing me.

I liked it, not as soft as the hybrid 4000 to me but it’s still a comfortable bed. I do like the price more compared to the 4000, though. Price is $2,657.20 which includes tax and delivery.

I liked the beautyrest black l class plush (comfort level 8) but I’m worried about the aches and pains if my back hates it. Plus my husband is a belly sleeper so would that be too soft?. Mattress shopping is by far the worst.

The mattress is a little bouncy but not too much - just perfect. I'll keep it this way for a week and see if I want to change it at all before I buy a proper cover, but right now I'd say I'm very happy with it. It's really, really good.

They usually have a core of foam or spring with 3 layers of foams on top. Anyway, I have gone to mattress stores over the last year to check what they have and I always end up loving the in-store feel of the Beautyrest Black C-Class Medium and X-Class Medium.

$440 is the exact right price for a Beautyrest.
