Audio-Technica LP2X turntable: it's fully automatic so easy for everyone to use, and it has a Phono Stage built in. S.M.S.L AD18: It has every input I need, Inc Bluetooth, and you can power a 2.1 setup with no problems... and I actually wired in a Centre Speaker as well and it work perfectly (although the Center just becomes a Mono output of whatever is going to the L and R speakers and isn't a dedicated vocals channel).

AT-LP2X cartridge upgrade.

Just keep in mind the LP2x does not have tonearm height adjustment.

I used to have an LP2x that I got on guitar center and I gotta say it worked great . When I started looking at options to upgrade it I ended up upgrading to a different TT.

But I used to have an LP2x which is a lot lower on the AT spectrum of AT than the very nice LPW40 and I gotta say there is a noticable difference in sound but not that much to be honest, the LP2x was a very nice TT and it worked great, no speed issues or anything... I like AT turntsbles and this one is one of the best looking ones and I bet it sounds awesome... Enjoy it man...

RCA output turntable to jack input speakers

As long as the turntable has a built in phono stage, as the LP2X does, then yes you need an adaptor 2RCA to 3.5mm (I’m guessing) stereo Jack plug. Make sure the turntable output is switched to Line.
