$1000 Gaming Laptop, need your opinions.

With $1k, you can do much better. HP pavilion is not a gaming laptop and I don't think it can even play triple A games nor even getting past the loading screen. Try finding Acer Nitro 5, Lenovo IdeaPad Gaming 3, ASUS TUF, Dell G15, etc.

Best Gaming Laptop on a Budget

Nothing close to the bang for buck of 2021 Asus Strix Amd Advantage and maybe Bestbuy will have another sale.

Also look at last two model years of Legion 5, Asus G15, even this years Asus Tuf all a lot of value for the money.
