Asus Chromebook Flip CM5

I was seriously disappointed in the performance of the CM5 and the Ryzen 5 processor. I even opened 4 windows with the Octane 2 benchmark running - the Intel was still faster. There may be some applications where the AMD CPU will catch up with the Intel one, but I can't find it. The performance hit when running on battery is an even bigger issue.

ASUS Chromebook Flip CM5 Laptop (15.6 Inch / Japanese Keyboard/Webcam/AMD Ryzen 5 3500C + Radeon Graphics / 8 GB / 256 GB/Touch Screen/Gunmetal). The cheaper version CM3 (clamsheel type) has a Mediatek processor so I read to avoid them but its half the price of the CM5. It is 79,000 yen (around $850 U.S) and it will serve my purpose of having a reliable chromebook for a least 5 year or more. Plus the I could also play games on it as well as web browsing etc.

Was great up until today when it magically stopped charging. Plugged it in and it registered as charging and then immediately stopped, tried both sides and different outlets, nothing. Can't tell if it is the charger or the port that stopped working, but its too expensive to try to investigate.
