At $1,000, the Rideal is definitely one of the best functioning E-bikes we’ve reviewed for the price tag.

It's a decent bike. Although I do wish I got something with a better motor and gears, like the Ariel Rideal. It doesn't take hills super well, so you have to do some work. Build quality isn't great, Rad uses very poor screws that strip by looking at them so you have to be really careful.

Ariel Rideal... eagerly waiting for it to arrive. I liked the simplicity of the RadMission but thought I would need a little more assist (750w motor and 6 gears) than the RM.

The Ariel Rider Rideal meets this requirement but I'd like something A) more powerful/capable and B) I'm not too fond of the aesthetic/paint options. What are the best e-bikes that resemble standard bicycles? I'm looking for something sturdy and powerful from a reputable company with decent customer service.

I'd skip Amazon all together. You will most likely be disappointed with the ebikes on there.

The only ebike I can think of is the Ariel Rider Rideal, although it's not as stealthy with the battery clearly visible, but it has a throttle, a powerful 750w motor, and a range of about 50 miles.

I have an Ariel Rider Rideal. It’s on the lower end of your budget, probably, at $1000, but it is an excellent bike for hills and is one that you should, and will want, to pedal a lot.
