Ariel Rideal... eagerly waiting for it to arrive. I liked the simplicity of the RadMission but thought I would need a little more assist (750w motor and 6 gears) than the RM.

The Radmission comes with lights wired from the factory. The Gigabyke Swift doesn't come with lights or any way to easily add lights ie connect them to the battery power. I had to add my own lights and connect them to a plug in order to tap into the battery supply. It's much nicer to have lights wired into the bike than to have to remember to carry lights that you have to remember to recharge and remember to take off so they won't get stolen.

More than adequate for the use case you describe. It's an eBike....you do not need 7 speeds, or even 3.

The RadMission is $999 and depending on high step/low step and color appears to be shipping relatively quickly. BestBuy is starting to carry ebikes but not sure if they have them in stores. Walmart carries them online but not sure if it's through a 3rd party and any in-store availability. Lastly, you could try your local bike shop but most don't carry ebikes in that price range.

Another issue is my budget, which I’m aiming for around 1500$. Yesterday I drove a few hours to test drive a Rad Power Mission Ebike assuming it was exactly what I needed, and the wheels and frame still felt a few inches too small and it was a very flat area to test ride so I’m unsure of the torque. I’m starting to assume the bike I’m looking for is mechanical, but I’m hoping to get some input from experienced people before making that decision.

New to my RadMission, but I gave it a good test ride through the hills of SF. 0 PAS on flat or slight hill feels like a normal bike. For the most part, only PAS 1 or 2 is all you need.

​. I put tannus armor in my radmission recently to prevent flat tires, but I noticed this made the tires very hard and now the ride is very bumpy. So now I want my next bike to have fat tires and/or shocks (cause i'm putting armor in my new bike too).
