Like already suggested, the Deep 6 are great, so are Apeks RK3 and whatever the Poseidon fins are called. If it's heavy drift diving, I think you can make an argument for freediving fins too, but they're a bitch to pack.

99% of my diving is in Caribbean warm waters - I recently jumped on the SS BP/W bandwagon and wish I would’ve done it sooner. To complete the full hipster diver package, are jet fins worth it or will my feet sink and mess up my trim (3mm booties)?

Fantastic finning ability, perfect for technical diving! Frog kicks, reverse swimming and whatever else you need! Not a speed fin, but works perfectly for everything else

I'm from the Philippines so it's tropical weather diving and I'll be using a wetsuit (if not just a rash guard and some diving pants). I use both the flutter and the frog kick. I want something in case I face a moderate current, good maneuverability, robust, and basically be a fin for overall use. Thinking of getting the Apeks RK3 (standard), OMS Slipstreams, Mares Avanti Quattro+. What do you guys think?

Scuba Fins Advise

 I especially like the ruggedness and durability of the RK3 design and again, the spring heel strap is REALLY nice. I've done 5 dives since purchase in Hawaii and I enjoy the overall feel of this RK3 fin. Plenty of power and compact design. It is a comfortable all around fin for my preference

 D-ring holes for carabener-BCD clip, which I like. I bought both this fin and the SCUBAPRO Go Sport (size: Large) fin to compare and I personally felt that the Apeks was a more comfortable fin (out of the box). I especially like the ruggedness and durability of the RK3 design and again, the spring heel strap is REALLY nice. I've done 5 dives since purchase in Hawaii and I enjoy the overall feel of this RK3 fin

I have been diving with Scubapro Jets and Hollis F1s for the last 14 years as a Divemaster. I was looking for something with the same level of control and thrust, but lighter for travel. These are absolutely perfect. A few pounds lighter than the Jets, and the foot pocket is much more comfortable

Sizing: I wear a 9.5–10 size shoe and the Large fit perfect over a 3 mm bootie. And would fit fine over a mm also
