AOC CQ27G2U

I have the AOC CQ32G1. I know it's probably a bit too big for most people but I am pretty happy with it. AOC CQ27G2U is another decent choice.

I play games and watch a lot of movies during night time so that's why I do prefer VA and their good blacks. I also want to hook up my PS5 (future) and I know that's not 4k but can upscale in order to do that I need HDMI 2.0 which both monitors have (I think the Q27G2U Flat Version only has HDMI 1.4). I'm not sure if 32" is that huge compared to 27". I sit around 80cm from the screen.

Take a look at the AOC CQ27G2U if you have a low budget. Check also the ASUS TUF VG27AQ or the LG 27GL850 on WHD (the VG27AQ is slightly better).

AOC CQ27G2U. It's G-Sync compatible, VA panel which means it has the best darks, it's curved, built-in speakers, lots of USB ports in it.

The monitor has some issues with ghosting or visible artifacts when overdrive is on in some scenarios and games (Very noticeable in minecraft caves) it also isn't super bright and that ends up having it seem less sharp.
