PowerColor AMD RX 6600 Fighter Review |
I’m not quite sure I could recommend the RX 6600 to someone, especially if the RTX 3060 is available at the same MSRP when you’re ready to pull the trigger. When considering the broader market, I’m glad AMD has a cheaper 1080p card when compared to the also overpriced 6600 XT, but it’s hard to recommend when all things are considered.

CPU and GPU choice
Those would both perform really really well for the games you've listed. Keep an eye out for good GPU deals and go with whatever is cheapest at the time tbh. RTX 3060/3060 Ti/2060/2060 Super/1060/1660/1660S are all decent enough Nvidia cards, AMD RX 6600 XT/5700 XT/RX 6600 are decent AMD cards. There's probably more I've forgotten actually.
This card does not get the recognition it deserves
My rating on value for money was made taking into the account the current silicone shortage. That being said the card is a beast. Easy overclocking with the radeon software for better performance, even without the overclocking I can run Tom Clancy's siege at Max settings 150 to 400FPS and i get 180 ...

is the Vega 64 worth it for running 2021 games? And what CPU should I go with it?
Vega 56/64 is inflated because of the Cryptomining performance. You can buy a GTX 1080 Ti / RX 6600 XT at the same price. Buy a Ryzen 5 3600, B450/550 motherboard, and 2x8 (16 GB) RAM for around $250-300 and for GPU:. Look for a decently priced GTX 1080 around $400 or GTX 1070 around $300.

So it works whether or not you care about one or the other, but so the card, the 6600xt. It's fine uh, it's not bad, and the same is true with the 3060 and the ti is just that.

[TPU] Battlefield 2042 Open Beta Benchmark Test & Performance Review
> the 8 GB RX 6600 XT falls behind at 4K, possibly because of its PCIe x8 4.0 interface.
That can't be right... I thought the bandwidth of x8 4.0 and x16 3.0 were comparable.
Isn't it more likely that the narrow bus and low cache are the causes?
