Although I don't see an estimated stacking weight suggested for this product, I think I've stacked as many as three of these containers, one on top of the other, each containing around 30 lbs (13.6 kg) of items inside. I have a lot of these bins - I originally bought them to use in 2002 when I was about to move across the country and knew I'd want accessible storage where I could see through the sides. I zip tied the bins shut and they handled the move great. Those older akro-mils bins have held up extremely well, and are obviously very well made. So a decade and a half alter when I needed more bins after giving a lot of the old ones away, I bought more here on amazon

 That said, these have worked fine for their intended purpose and I have not had them actually fail.

Mostly decent bins with more manufacturing variance than I'd like.
