We have a few of these and the newer ones just don’t seem as sturdy as the older ones (5+ years old).   We’ll keep these because we need them but I’m curious on how well they’ll hold up over time.

Better than most

 The trunk seems durable, is very lightweight, has sturdy hinges and the locking latch snaps shut tightly and also forms a good handle for pulling the box towards me in the back of the car.  The inside of the trunk seems like it was ejected improperly from the mold because some of the mold ridges are misformed, but it doesn't affect the interior volume or use of the trunk so I won't be returning it for a new one, but it does bear mentioning that it seems there are some issues with quality control.
