 The Forefoot/\s/ and the middle part of the foot fix. Really/\s/great mainly because of the eyelets that go/\s/ down the midsole.. We Also have a good/\s/and strong heel cup, but it’s too low

ADIDAS HARDEN STEPBACK 2: Performance test

What's up gang! it's Kicks Contest

review and we couldn't say no to you.  

In my hand i have adidas harden 
stepback two. Let's get started

After you try to put these shoes 
on for the first time you don’t  

need any additional time to get used to it.

The only thing you should do is to find 
the optimal balance in tying the shoelaces.  

Because if you tie too hard they can bother 
your foot and cut into it while stopping.  

As well as your heel may be dangling 
if youdon’t tie the laces hard enough.

If you find this balance you will 
have a great pleasure to play in it.  

Stepbacks2 are very flexible 
so your movements are relaxed.

Then Stepbacks2 are very soft. There 
are a lot of padding in the counter.  

In the toe box the textile is so soft, and with 
all of that we have pretty nice ventilation. 

When I was playing at the cold court I felt the 
fresh air to come through the shoe. Really cool!

Okay, next up is cushioning… 
Umm WHO THE F*CK IS THAT GUY? 

GRINCH is in the game. You 
wanted Xmas? Then fuck you!

Ok, then. In Stepbacks2 we have the midsole 
foam Bounce. I can’t believe the same midsole  

foam was used in Adidas Pro Model 2G. I mean the 
Bounce is way too different in different shoes.  

When I faced with Bounce earlier it hasn’t 
been soft. But that Bounce is really soft.

The cushioning will be great for players under 
175 lbs. I dunked a lot and got zero discomfort.  

But unfortunately for those who are above 
175 lbs it would be not enough amortization.  

Stepbacks2 are low to the ground so it’s easy to 
maneuver. Point guards will definitely like it.

There we have a Web traction pattern similar to 
the one we mentioned in Adidas D.O.N. Issue #2.  

I tested these shoes in 3 different courts and 
I have no questions to it’s traction. I suppose  

Stepbacks2 show great results not because of it’s 
traction pattern but because of the materials that  

are used. It’s something like rubber so that’s 
why Stepbacks2 catch the court so great.

Although the shoes look great the 
materials are low-cost. Even though  

Bounce isn’t similar to other Bounces it’s 
still Bounce and it has some weaknesses.  

The quality of the build is 
pretty good. No big Faults.

Then, durability: Stepbacks2 will be great for 1 
season at the indoor courts. But I can strongly 

recommend you to play outdoor because the rubber  

at the outsole will definitely 
lose a war to outdoor courts.

Now let’s talk about safety. The forefoot  

and the middle part of the foot fix really 
great mainly because of the eyelets that go  

down the midsole. We also have a good 
and strong heel cup but it’s too low.

At first it felt like the heel was going to 
fly up and the shoe would remain at the court.  

Fortunately, nothing like that happened. I 
should mention that with lateral loads for  

example when jumping off two legs the heel may 
stagger and that increases the risk of injuries.

Moreover, there are no stabilizing plates in  

the shoe and it can deform while 
sudden braking and it’s not good.

Adidas Harden Stepback 2 are great kicks but 
narrowly focused. This pair would be great for 

well-coordinated speedy players 
who prefer jumping off one foot  

or for all of you just to chill 
at the court with your friends.

Hey there, I’m a 5’7 PG/SG, play mostly outdoors these days because of covid etc. I prefer lightweight shoes that provide good support, cushioning and durability. Been using the Nike renew elevate, KD trey V’s for the past year now, they both only last about 2 1/2 months, I play 3 times a week. 

If you have any suggestions, I would really appreciate them.

<p>Been wearing the Nike renew elevate, KD trey V’s for the past year now, they both only last about 2 1/2 months, I play about 3 times a week. Shoes I previously used are PG3’s, Dame 2’s, Kyrie Flytraps (yuck bad shoe). </p>

<p>If you have any suggestions, I would really appreciate them.</p>

I have to add and extra insoles just so I can have that soft cushion feel that my knees requires. Now to the main reason I don't think the SB2 is great for bigger guys. The fit is very snug and wraps around your feet like a python,which can be good but if a person is heavier I think lateral containment may become an issue.

Which shoes should be preferred  for an heavy guy .
