Adidas Harden Stepback 2 vs Nike Lebron 16 Low

I have to add and extra insoles just so I can have that soft cushion feel that my knees requires. Now to the main reason I don't think the SB2 is great for bigger guys. The fit is very snug and wraps around your feet like a python,which can be good but if a person is heavier I think lateral containment may become an issue.

I have one wide foot and I got the Lebron 16 low (which has the same cushion and outsole), and I went a half size up. I heard the regular one is a little roomier so you dont have to go half a size up, but i dont know though. If you have very wide feet Id say the safe bet is to go a half size up, or a full size if its really, really wide, whatever you normally do.

LeBron 16- ridiculous cushion and bounce with thick, hard traction. Lasted me a few months of hard outdoor use.

AF1s are cool shoes but I wouldnt use them on the court. They have a very reasonable cushioning, but have average traction and arent stable at all. I used my pair to train for a couple weeks (before I bought my Harden Stepback 2s) and have delegated them to fashion shoes ever since.

Only lebron's I ever got lebron 16 low atomic violet I ordered them my size I couldn't even get my foot in the shoe. Are the 18s the same? Should I order a size up? Also I don't play basketball at all I just want to wear these for style.

Get the Stepback 2’s. lve been wearing mine outdoor only because of the decent durability of the traction. They feel really good on foot and fairly cheap. Bought mine for $75

In my experience playing outdoors you need to rotate your shoes if you're playing more than twice a week. No amount of cushioning will "recover" if you only wear 1 pair.

This year is my first year of playing school basketball and I've found out how terrible these shoes are (slipped multiple times during my first game + hurts to run in overtime in practice). I was wondering if I should get the Harden Stepback 2s since they're really cheap and I've heard a lot of good things about them. Or should I just wait for next year (presumably my Varsity year) and get something else. Or even get something else other than Stepback 2s rn (budget)
