Not as good as I thought

 On the other hand, the metal is very smooth and it takes no effort at all to slide the stand (53 lbs + 20lbs of plants) easily across the patio. I await with bated breath for the next lusty wind to see what happens. Will this thing sail across the patio like a ship at sea? Time will tell. The upright tubing is very well done and grips the umbrella nicely

  Edit: Seller would/could not replace the poorly manufactured smaller diameter base tube, so it is going back. What a waste of shipping $$, since this thing is so heavy. D for quality. Will try another brand next time

The old saying- you get what you pay for is definitely true in this case.! I replaced the $60 one with this beauty. Pricey but worth it. Just know even this heavyweight base isn’t impervious to any and all wind, but a definite improvement! - 30 days later- the vertical pole got loose so I have to flip over this 75lb base and retighten the 1/2” allen screw

 To ensure the retightening of the 3/8” hex screw held, I added a dab of Loc Tite (blue type, not red type) and that seemed to secure the vertical pole. - Update: 3 months later the Loc Tite is working and the pole and umbrella are staying firm for me!

 I placed a 9 foot diameter umbrella in the stand and on windy days, with the umbrella open, it hasn't tipped over.  This stand was well worth the price I paid for it.

Arrived a little earlier than expected. They came disassembled but can easily be put together. The two I purchased are the heavy ones, and it took some help holding the base upright so I could put the bolt up through the bottom of the plate to install the pipe that holds the umbrella. Seems like a good coating of paint on the product, but they both did arrive chipped on the edges

2nd order, slightly disappointing

 Which stinks since that is the reason I got this one to wheel around deck. Wheels are to small and you would really tilt it until it was laying on ground. Also have had it for a couple of months and it looks like part of tube and screw for tube is rusting a little bit. Again do not get this for just because of wheels
