Vitamix 5200 vs Vitamix A2500

Vitamix 5200, but for a more budget (but still excellent) option, I would highly recommend the Breville Hemisphere Control for a shade above 150. I will recommend against the Ninja blenders. They're a lot cheaper, but there are good reasons to get at least the Breville.

The texture of the smoothie is SO much better. The way to clean it with a drop of soap and warm water is super convenient. Don’t hesitate over price, but this blender!

Better practice would be to make all movement clockwise (or all movement cc) as this would put both studs of the pair in play for each lock-unlock episode ( and reduce the wear on the otherwise solo stud by a significant percentage).. The BEST PRACTICE, however, which might be a little hard to swallow or ordain in the instructions, would be to make all movement clockwise on odd days of the month, and all movement cc on even days of the month. OK, you think I'm nuts, so let me explain

That is a reason to upgrade to Ascent. Otherwise ride it out. Or hand. Your Legacy machine down and get an Ascent

Received my 7500 Reconditioned and the first thing I noticed was the variable speed knob seems to have zero effect to the speed of the blades. I read the manual, followed the steps to 'reset' and still nothing. I have not had a great experience so far with Vitamix customer service. The first rep told me this was totally normal (which I've watched enough demo videos of this model to know that it is not, also just visited a friend yesterday with a Next Gen and their variable speeds work as expected)

This blender is awesome, by no doubt the best blender ever. I've used Nutribullet and Ninja for about 10 years, they are both good, but Vitamix performance surpasses them all. Vitamix makes the smoothest smoothies, it's easy to operate, does not cause splashes, and it's faster. I love the 64 ounces jar because I can make my day's smoothie in one go and faster

They emailed me a UPS label and let me ship (free)the mechine to repair. Only a week, fixed and returned it to me. No questioon, no more a word. Simple, easy, quick

I was very undecided about which model to buy, but I made the right choice with the A2500. It has the smoothie preset so I can start it and walk away. I use the same selection for cleaning because I know it will stop by itself. And cleaning is so easy
