There'S been some poor reviews about this, shoe everything from poor materials for construction and basically just prematurely falling apart. One of the most noted concerns is a shoe coming part of these seams on this side and this side here consumers have posted pics of this issue. I don't know about you, but those shoes look like they have had that ripped out of them

 It feels like a mix of a slipper and a tennis shoe, and it's just super comfortable combine that with fast OTG off the grid, solar mix, a broad surface plug from the forefoot, with smaller angular lugs along the perimeter contract, and then we're going to knock her Down who what all that means is that you have a great form-fitting, solid shoe that makes you feel connected to the ground like only a quality lace to toe shoe can ask for sizing. They are spot-on. I wear a seven and a half. These are seven and a half they fit me perfectly

Vasque Juxt Review

  On the first few wearings, there was noticeable heel lift. This has diminished somewhat as the shoes have broken in - perhaps because the sole has softened up and perhaps because the shoe is molding to my foot. But it remains true that the heel fit of the Juxt does not seem as.

 If Lowas are BMWs, Vasque would be a Chevrolet. Solid materials and workmanship. Decent value at this price-point.  One niggle: As another reviewer commented, the laces are constructed of a "slippery" material and have a propensity to loosen even when double knotted

 Seems to grip well enough. Haven't had the shoe out in inclement weather so cannot comment on performance in wet or mud.  Quality of materials / construction: No complaints (so far). Similar quality to my Vasque Snowblimes

Okay not great.  More trail runner than hiker.

I was looking for a sturdy low top hiker that was comfortable, light weight and stylish (for going to dinner) I wanted something that I could wear for touring the cities as well as on a 12 mile Great Wall adventure. 

Best hiker I have ever worn

 Now, I'm upset with myself. I'm dropping my review to 3 stars because they just don't hold up over time. This pair was used for minimal hiking and mostly normal, everyday wear. The rubber part that covers the front of the shoe toes area started peeling off again

 The hard rubber tread of the sole began to separate from the soft foam that's underneath it. And rocks will slice right through that foam. If this pair of shoes cost $55 they might be worth it. Don't think you are getting durable hiking shoes that will last for multiple seasons

 The thread is not thick. After that thread breaks the materials start to separate from each other. As these shoes neared the end of their life one of them began to squeak in the heel every time I stepped down. That's really annoying and embarrassing

 It's not stitched, so when the adhesive starts to fail they are done. The large orange stitches that hold the material together failed again near the front of the shoe, on the side/top. The thread is not thick. After that thread breaks the materials start to separate from each other

Very little arch support, Don't last long

  If you are an active individual looking for a shoe that holds up, is comfortable, supportive, and doesn't look like clown shoes, then this may be what you are looking for.

 I want a shoe that holds up well, is comfortable and supportive. The stores in my area sell shoes that have flashing lights, wings, shock absorbers, curb feelers, back-up alarms, wifi, and air pumps.  If you are an active individual looking for a shoe that holds up, is comfortable, supportive, and doesn't look like clown shoes, then this may be what you are looking for.

Holds up well.  Great for trails and everyday use.

0 (which are 11.5M and I still use) as well as many other shoes I have. These seemed to run small for me because I have to return them. My toes are crushed at the front of the toe box

 Kind of odd since there are so many reviews that state they fit "true to size". My foot shape isn't odd so I rarely have problems fitting that size. I'm a bit peeved though that I have to pay return shipping. Also, the option of selecting "replace" for a larger size wasn't even an option with the Seller (Rogan's Shoes out of Wisconsin)

Ran small for me

 For twice what they cost I could buy a pair of boots that will last me the rest of my life of daily hard use on the homestead.  I wanted these for summer use when its hot outside and heavy footwear is like drudging through shin high wet concrete. These are great shoes in terms of comfort. I use them for everything to include daily use on the homestead, mowing 5 acres of brush grass, hiking, fishing, hunting, etc

 but they do not last and should be half the price of what they are so just know that if you are looking at them.  They are a well known brand in the outdoors community and these shoes come highly recommended but the heals compress very quickly and they get uncomfortable in short order. The life span of a shoe like this for such a high cost should be closer to 1-2 years without a single issue. Instead my first pair lost support and popped the stitching in less than 3 months

Wanted to put this out there because I think it is important. Firstly, I do like these shoes. They are very comfortable and breathe well. They are not the least bit waterproof but do seem to air dry within a day

Know what you are buying.

 The only thing that I can think of improvement wise it's if they were waterproof. Until then there is always silicone waterproofing spray and wool socks.

Like them more Everytime I wear them.

I have to admit that the first thing that attracted me to this shoe was the way it looked. The fact that the color of the sole matches the fabric and shades of color on the top of the shoe just make it look sleek and gorgeous

 Then I come to find out that these beautifully colored out souls are Vibram outsole, which are known for their durability and slip resistance, and that's pretty impressive. Maril shoes are known for their comfort, and these hiking shoes are no exception. They have all the elements of a great hiking shoe breathable mesh lining bellows tongue, to keep out the debris and dirt they have a great arch support and an air cushioned shock absorbing heel.
