Unique and great value

 So after about 15-20 fish the blade needed to be honed on a stone, which is not unusual for these guys and their high quality $100+ knifes they use. They did tell me that it took the edge on the stone quicker with less passes over the stone then their knifes normally do. All in all they loved the knife and especially loved the tip that curved on the end for removing flesh close to the tail or skin close to the end of the cut. The only negatives they had were the size of the handle and there was no where to put your thumb when really had to turn or push the blade through bone or a heave piece of flesh

 I never did never did lose one of my uncle harry knives either, but uh traffic here trying to go around a big digger here in the truck. The roads are pretty tight here, but it's it's a really nice knife, it's stainless steel, and this has just a little bit of surface rust on it very little and again, this knife has been here in the philippines for 17 years. So it's doing pretty good, but you can't go wrong with uncle henry. The old charades are good too

Older Uncle Henry Filet Knife  Review

 This new one is not made as well as the older one. The blade is not a good and the handle is light weight and not sturdy. I do like it but it does not compare to the original one I bought years ago (which by the way was made in the USA and the new one was not) All in all a good knife but quality is just not what I would expect from this knife manufactor.
