 It's sort of the low end derailleur but it still works really really well here. So that's it for the spec of the bike and let's get into the folding of the bike. So the first thing you want to do is remove the kickstand. While you remove the kickstand turn the pedal by folding it and drop the seat post

 What I have here is the Tern-Link A7. It's an entry level bike so the price point of this bike is under $700 in Canadian but in US it's probably under $500. So it's a really economic bike. So this particular bike, who is this for? Well for someone who doesn't want to pay a lot of money but still want to have a good quality folding bike and that's what this bike is for

 One thing is really important you need to tilt the saddle just a little bit off center. You need to make sure you drop the handle post down as low as possible and then remove the latch and point the handle post either upward or downward doesn't really matter but basically the whole idea is you just want to make sure they're flat. Then the next step is to drop the handle post. Now this one don't have a safety pin you just basically push it out and then this handle bar will come down and then the next step is to open up the safety latch open up the main hinge and then just fold it this way

The Tern Link A7 pictured at the end of article is a good example of a folding bike with an unfortunate gearing combination of 36" - 72" gear inches, thanks to that 7-speed freewheel. It's a shame that manufacturers (big, small, good, or bad) continue offering bikes with 6- or 7-speed hubs and saddle the eventual buyers with slow bikes that are just heavy when it comes time to climb hills. And then to make matters worse, many come with a smaller chainring, too. Hence the reputation of folding bikes being slow bikes, or bikes that need more pedalling

For those who want the pro's and con's of touring with a folding bicycle!

 Really nice, thoughtful feature that Tern had there, and some really nice folding pedals as well for when you're folding the bike, you can save a little bit of extra space. Up on the cockpit area, you do have some adjustments here that you can make as far as the angle of your brake levers. And you have a nice 7-speed twist grip shifter here to keep your shifting nice and accessible, and some ergonomic grips as well. So the fold on the Link A7 is a little bit different than some of the other Tern bikes that are out there, so we'll walk you through it

 So we'll close that up. Next you're going to want to come to your handlebars, and you're going to want to lower them right around that number 11 there. That's going to get it at the right height for you when the bars are between the two wheels. Then you're going to adjust the brake levers to be completely vertical so that they're nice and flat when you fold it up

 It does have bottle cage bosses in the frame there so you can carry your water with you. It has mounting points for fenders and a rack as well, so you can get both of those installed on the bike if you need to for some extra carrying space and just to keep yourself clean while you're riding in wet weather. It comes with a nice comfortable saddle, which is always an upgradeable option, but the one that it comes with is just fine for most people. The bike has some nice heavy duty rims, and the rim brakes that it comes with are plenty for your daily city commute

 You can literally fit it in your closet if it's big enough. Some people even say you can fit it in some large suitcases. You can immediately tell right away that the wheels are smaller because it's a lot bumpier than your traditional, you know, 26 27 inch wheel bicycle. These are 20 inch wheels, so it's a little bit bumpier, mostly because it's on, you know, uh, sidewalk right now with all these cracks

 I've had two road bikes and a hybrid bike before that and I always struggled. You know, carrying them around. They're always heavy. You know, they always awkwardly fit in the back of my pickup truck and that just got annoying after a while

 You could probably ride this thing and like bring it into the class. like if you ride to school or ride to work, you could literally fit this under your desk. I love this bike! One of my best Amazon purchases so far.

Zizzo Campo Folding Bike Riding Impressions

 The frame welds are good and the yellow paint job is high quality (although it is a matte rather than a shiny finish). At 28 pounds the Campo is average for competing bikes in this price range ($329 from Amazon and on the Zizzo website.) My only doubt is whether I should have spent more for the Urbano, which weighs 3-4 pounds less. Well-built folding bike with many features for the money

 All you have is a seven speed rear and the shifting duties are being handled by Shimano Tourney, which some people will scoff at the Shimano Tourney and say, ah, you know, blah, blah, blah. They're a little noisy if you're putting them on other bikes like the bigger mountain bikes, that type of thing, but they're reliable. They work. It's Shimano

 This is the aluminum first in the line for aluminum bikes by Zizzo. Actually one of their most popular sellers, their biggest seller we're looking at right here. This is the Campo. All 6061 heat treated aluminum with the frame and folding mechanism in the center here to fold the bike in half

 Very nicely done. If you guys are on the fence about folding bikes at all, you need a bike to commute on, you need a bike to save space, maybe you've got a small apartment or a studio apartment, you want to have a bicycle to ride for camping, for boating, for whatever. Full line of accessories you can get from Euro Mini Zizzo. I purchased the waterproof bag and the bottle cage and bottle, which I don't have on the bike right now
