 You will see that once you've ripped that grip tape off that grip tape is no longer able to be used. You're going to have to get yourself some new grip tape. But despite those drawbacks the TMG H20 Mini like I've said 100 times already it's awesome. It's got great range, really decent top speed especially for a short board and the carving on it is incredible

 When you're already cruising along the thumb wheel is nice and responsive with accelerating and braking but it's when you start accelerating from a stand still that seems to be the problem. I get this momentary juddering in the motors when I ease the accelerator on coming from a standstill. If I kick push off first and get the board rolling and then ease the accelerator on I don't get this juddering at all. So it's a pretty easy workaround and you'll probably actually save some battery power with this method anyway

 Note that the power setting does not affect the braking response. I used the low setting the first two weeks of use, which allowed me to get used to the board.  The POWER, this board is fast, too fast for most beginners and well fast enough for intermediate skateboarders. I was able to achieve 35kph on the power setting, and the acceleration is very nice

A good entry level board with great features, and a few expected flaws

 The H20 has four speeds with the top speed reaching 24 miles per hour which I had my nephew demonstrate here. The speed can be changed by pressing the B button. The screen will then display what speed you're on. I then asked my nephew to test the brakes for all four speeds which pretty much stopped at the same point

 I think if this was just a little more concave and the tail kicked up a little bit you'd have a lot more control. So we converted you to the electric? Oh yeah 100%. I'm 42 dude. I'll be on the electric in no time

 I know it doesn't but it feels like it does. Now it does have high elasticity, PU wheels, and shock absorbers which makes for a smooth ride. I'm pretty impressed with how this handles rocks and gravel. There's been a few times that I've hit some gravel patches

 MOST IMPORTANTLY the battery it is a long distance battery, however when charging the charger itself heats up WAY to much and is not regulated so it will burn the battery if you leave it over charging or overnight charging, [1-1.3hrsOR LESS) charging time MAX is what I found 6. The back wheels are the motor and they will take most, if not ALL the abuse so beware. No real complaints just manufacturing details

 So this board right here, it accelerates way too fast. And I don't know if that's a good thing or a bad thing, but I cannot ride this board in the high plus mode. I can only ride it in the medium mode because if you take a look at the kick tail, when you push the acceleration, all of your weight goes in the back foot. So if you put your foot on the kick tail and you put it in high mode and you punch it, the board literally does this

 But now that I have an actual short board, I'm taking this thing out way more than I initially thought. If you're going for like a last mile commute, somewhere around one to two miles close by, I would 100% take this board just because it's so easy to grab and it's so easy to carry around rather than carrying a gigantic 30 board around. I'd rather take this. Now let's talk about another thing, the acceleration

 Would I ride a mini board for 18 miles of range? That is another question. If you guys would like me to do a range test, I will be happy. Just let me do it down in the comments. Another crazy thing about this board is that it is using the Hobbywing ESC, which means that it comes with the smart turn on feature

 Usually budget boards come somewhere around seven to 10 miles of range. So seeing that this thing has 18 miles of range, make this a really good buy. Would I ride a mini board for 18 miles of range? That is another question. If you guys would like me to do a range test, I will be happy

 Tiny sent us the belt drive version with urethane wheels and the very long range battery. For this review, my henchman Alex and his henchman Chase Bissingtooth Parker tried out this board extensively in Hangzhou. Alex has actually made several DIY boards using the Boosted Mini deck, so he's the best person to cover this board. Let's find out how he feels about the Tiny Mini 2

 The two belt driven motors on the mini 2 are 5055 170kV BLDC motors from Dongxingwei, with 850W per motor for a total of 1700W, but for a smaller board, using a smaller motor is a reasonable choice for more range. The motors are frontward mounted, so they don't get in the way of the kicktail, and in general, it looks cleaner as well. One tiny thing that I noticed though, is that the grip tape isn't cut all that well. But it's an easy thing to fix

 There are a number of things about this board that make it stand out among the competing electric shortboards, most notably its very long range. The Mini 2 is available with hub motors or belt drive, urethane wheels or cloud wheels, and a long range battery or a very long range battery. Tiny sent us the belt drive version with urethane wheels and the very long range battery. For this review, my henchman Alex and his henchman Chase Bissingtooth Parker tried out this board extensively in Hangzhou

 Being a 12S belt driven short board, it's more powerful than most boards in its category. With a larger battery pack than most short boards, I got about 30km of range on speed mode 4, while riding on mostly flat terrain and being a little bit trigger happy. With the included 2.58 charger, it can be charged within 3-4 hours

Long Range Short Board – Tynee Mini 2 Electric Skateboard Review

It is noticeably faster (although I’d say the same amount of torque). It is a smoother ride, and the battery lasts just over twice as long as my mini s. Even the remote is nicer than the boosted as it has a screen which tells you your exact speed along with other things such as trip distance, battery, etc in real time. Not to mention, Tynee has incredible customer service, I dealt with Aiden and he was very helpful

 Tiny Mini 2 also rides like a champ, breaking the record for the most stable mini board to ride at high speed. If you compare it to the WowGo Mini 2 and Exway Wave, Tiny Mini 2 is less nimble and carvey. It is also quite hefty and bulky due to the bigger batteries and its double enclosures. All things said, if speed and range are everything to you and you are not particularly concerned about premium polish and features, like a swappable battery, then this is definitely the mini board for you

 For a mini board, this is a bit overkill, but Tiny Mini 2's main selling point is its performance. And, in our test, the rider did manage to get a top speed of 28 miles or 45 kilometers per hour. Pushing it to the fullest can be a bit risky though. As for the trucks, Tiny Mini 2 keeps its proprietary reverse kingpin trucks from the previous model which are based on the upgraded Paris V3
