It sounds like the type of riding you'll be doing puts you in the full suspension category. The stumpjumper has always been a great platform.

Can't Decide Against Hardtail vs Full-Sus...

 I will say however my santa cruz had it all over the evil on paint finish, and frame finishing.

I am trying to decide between some bikes with a lifetime frame warranty. I've found an Evil Offering GX build, and a Santa Cruz Bronson C S MX build. Would love a hightower, but can't find one right now. I've heard that the offering is super playful, but seems like most people agree SC's customer service is hard to beat. Just looking to get some opinions from people that have owned some of these.

 The rockshox recon fork, the x-fusion rear shock, and the SX drivetrain will be limiting factors on that bike. Or, if you like the Stumpjumper, kick in another 600 and get the Stumpjumper Comp alloy for 3600.

My first full sus was a 2020 Stumpjumper Alloy ST 29er. I progressed past the limitations of those components before the end of the first season I owned it.  So yeah, the SP 150 is a special bike and undoubtedly part of it made our test bike so special was the Fox float. X To shock that let each tester adjust the suspension to suit their needs. This bike deserves needs even a shock like the X2 to reach its full potential. but you have to spend seventy six hundred bucks to get one in a stock build

 Yeah I mean and this bike makes it as easy as possible to make that leap. I mean the rear suspension is gonna hug the ground and they do that. Generous extra 20 millimeters of front suspension and 170 mm fork on a 20 honor and that is beastly it. It really encourages you as much as it can to ride a little bit differently

 Oh yeah, Big knuckle, it's like Little Shop of Horrors Enduro Yeah I Can't imagine Rick Moranis on this thing. Steve Martin That wasn't it good. Yeah, but do you want me to see more? Steve Martin with the demo? Yeah, yeah, totally see. Steve Martin is a sadistic dentist on this bike, but it's It's kind of a big price tag to get into all this stuff we're talking about

 I Think that underlies how good the angles and the suspension are and how focused they are and going fast. Nothing but stability. It just tracks straight, it doesn't want to get knocked off line, and a lot of those corners are just filled with holes. And you know those round rocks, baby heads and they're wet and you come through them

 I Don't think yetis gonna be spec in pushkar inserts or anything, but you know if this bike came with DoubleDown tires from Axis, it would make sense wouldn't it? It really would because everything else on this bike is ready to go and do an enduro race anywhere in the world. Just about right out of the box and the tires are the one thing for me. back. Final thoughts: Sue's this fight for the SB 150 is a great and drill race fight for someone that really wants to get down the trail fast

Hi all,
My first bike was a 2012 Trek Remedy 9. It was a 26er with high end components at the time. Added a reverb to it and away I went for the last 7 years (bought it in '14). However after thousands of miles, she's starting to get a bit tired and I'm looking for my next bike to last another 7-10 years. 

 I ride primarily in and around Tahoe, Nor Cal, nor Nevada. I'm an "all mountain/Enduro" guy, so I'm looking for a good uphill pedaler, but also long travel since I occasionally will do shuttle runs and hit the bike parks. (minimum 150mm rear, since that's what I'm used to). 

I've never riden a 27.5 or a 29 in the mountains, so I'm excited about that prospect. 

Never had a carbon frame, so not against aluminum, but whatever works.  Mostly want good components 

Exicted to lose my front derailuer! 

Me... I'm 6ft / 190 with gear. 
I'm 40. So, I ride hard, but cautious. Had a major mtb Injury 2 years ago; recovered, and am a better rider for it... though I'm not taking 40 foot doubles anytime soon.  

Budget let's say $6k.  
Thought about trying a Slash, or a new remedy, but am hearing there have been carbon issues with those new ones. 

Looking at anything. Direct to consumer / boutique or big name; I don't care about all that so long as they are reputable and stand by their products.  

Some that I have been looking at are 
  Orbea Rallon, Propain, YT, Canyon, santa cruz - Nomad, Ibis Ripmo... Just so long as it fits the components and travel specs, I'll hear It out.
