 If you want something with a touch more analog feel, then you'd probably go back over to the airish knowing that you're giving up the functionalities of the preamp. So once again, this is a great amp. I don't want this to come across in any way as a negative review. It was more a review that I thought was important

 So the theory is there's less conversion of the power required and therefore you're going to get in theory, better quality sound, cleaner measurements, etc. After the power input, we've got the power switch that I just mentioned. Now, if it sounds like I'm knocking the magnets in this review, I'm definitely not. But having watched and read a few other reviews of this amplifier, I thought it was really important to paint the full picture here

 And don't worry, I'm not about to drop jokes throughout this review because they probably would be jokes and not just jokes if you know what I mean. So I'm not going to continue with the puns throughout, but I couldn't resist starting off with something like that. Some of you may be aware that headphone jacks on high end smartphones are a dying breed and with LG recently leaving the market, there is now a severe lack of smartphones with quality DACS in them to choose from. LG was known for including the best headphone jacks found in any smartphone in their devices and now that they're gone, those looking to upgrade from their current smartphone has no real choices other than to get a dongle or move on to Bluetooth headphones. 

What would you guys recommend as the best USB type C dongle to use for those seeking a hi res listening experience on the go or at least something that can match the quality and output of LG's HiFi quad DAC?

My daily driver is a LG V40 and with it's HiFi quad DAC, it had no problem powering my Sennheiser HD6XX(basically HD600) headphones with it's high impedance. I'm looking to upgrade soon to a new phone but I know I probably can't get away from using a dongle so I'm hoping to find something at least comparable to my current audio experience. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.
